Jeremy James, Treasurer
Senior Manager, PwC

Jeremy has over 15 years of experience providing assurance services to industrial products, information technology and retail and consumer companies in a variety of capacities. Jeremy has performed integrated audits of both publicly traded and private companies that included supervising large multi-national engagement teams, coordinating the work of specialists, leading National Office consultations, and serving as a primary day-to-day contact for all client related matters on the engagement. Jeremy’s clients rely on his ability to effectively evaluate and provide advice on the finance and accounting implications of a number of complex matters including: revenue recognition models, mergers, and acquisitions, SEC reporting and compliance, information technology system implementations and internal control related matters.

As a senior manager in PwC's Asset Management practice, Jeremy has over eleven years of experience serving several of PwC’s most complex alternative investment fund clients in Los Angeles and New York, ranging from start-up managers to multi-national, multi-billion dollar alternative investment firms. Many of these firms maintain complex structures and employ complex investing strategies. Jeremy's current and past clients include several funds of funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, and venture funds. In addition, Jeremy has experience serving PwC's higher education clients, which maintain significant endowments that invest in a variety of hedge fund, private equity fund, and venture fund strategies. Jeremy is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in New York and California. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 2003
